From GW Bridge (or exiting the Turnpike onto Route 80 West): Take I-95 to I-80 west local exit 66 Hudson St., Hackensack. Get off Route 80 at exit 66 (Hudson Street/Hackensack/Little Ferry), at the end of the ramp continue to the light and turn left onto Hudson Street. Proceed to the third light and make a left onto Broadway. Proceed one block and make a left onto Holt Street. You will see the church. Park on Holt Street. From I-80 East: Take the Hudson Street, Hackensack/Little Ferry exit (66). From the ramp, make a left onto Vreeland Ave. At the light turn left onto Hudson Street. Go under I-80 and proceed to the fourth light (the light before going under Route 80 counts as #1) and make a left onto Broadway. Proceed one block and make a left onto Holt Street. You will see the church. Park on Holt Street. From Route 17 South: Exit onto I-80 East in Hasbrouck Heights/Lodi area. Follow the above directions from I-80 East. From NJ Turnpike: Stay on the Turnpike past the final toll booth. Take I-80 West LOCAL and follow the GW Bridge directions. From Route 46: Exit at Teterboro Airport, Huyler Street, South Hackensack. Stay on Huyler Street to the second light. (Huyler Street becomes State Street.) At the second light, turn right onto Lodi Street. Proceed four blocks on your left to the second church at the corner of Lodi and Holt Streets.

GSP North to Exit 160 (Fair Lawn). Left at the light. Go over the bridge and make a right onto 4West to Route 208North which becomes (287 South). Exit #55 (Wanaque). Make right at light. Next light make left onto Rt 511N. *** Go approx. 7 miles through two small towns into Ringwood. Wanaque Reservoir will be on your left. Bear right at fork in the road onto Sloatsburg Road. Go approx. 2 miles on Sloatsburg Rd. (You will pass E. G. Hewitt School on your right and a ballfield on your left.) Continue straight and make the 1st right onto Morris Rd. Ringwood State Park is on the right and Mount Saint Francis is on the left. Pass in front of Mount Saint Francis and make a left onto Morris Road. Make the next left onto our property. The retreat office is in the mansion building.

FROM THE TAPPANZEE BRIDGE:
Take the bridge to Route 287 West toward the New York State Thruway North. Exit at 15A. Left at light onto Route 17 North. Continue on Route 17 following the directions above.

At the 5^th light—Shonnard Place—turn left. Follow Shonnard Place to Convent Ave. (4^th right).
Turn right. Sacred Heart Church is on your left. Entrance to parking lot is just beyond the church on your left. Go down the hill in the parking lot to the round building where Convivenza will be held.

From the NJ Turnpike:
Take Exit 9. After paying toll, bear to the right following signs for Rt. 18 North, New Brunswick. Follow Rt. 18 North approximately 3 miles and take the exit for Easton Ave. (shortly after the exit for Rt. 27). Follow the ramp until it ends at a T intersection. Make a left at the light onto Landing Lane. At the next light, make a right onto Easton Ave. and follow approximately one mile through one traffic light. Stay to the right. You will see Rutgers Plaza Shopping Center on left. Before you reach the second light, take the jug handle on the right to turn left onto JFK Blvd. Proceed approximately one mile. The church is on the right side.

From Route 287 South:
Take Exit 10 for Easton Ave/New Brunswick. Follow Easton Ave. approximately 2 miles through 4 traffic lights. After the fifth traffic light (an Exxon station and a McDonalds will be on the left), look for a sign for JFK Blvd. Turn right onto JFK Blvd and proceed approximately 1 mile.The church will be on right.

From Route 287 North:
Take Exit 10 for Easton Ave/New Brunswick. Bear left, following the signs for New Brunswick. This will take you onto Easton Ave. Continue on Easton Ave. as indicated in the directions from Rt. 287 South.

From New York:
Take George Washington Bridge, Lincoln or Holland Tunnels to New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 10. Follow signs to Rt. 287 North. Follow directions above to St. Matthias.

From Brooklyn/Staten Island:
Take Verrazano Bridge to Outerbridge Crossing to Route 440 South to Rt. 287 North. See above from Rt. 287 North.
